It is not without reason that the macadamia nut is called the “Queen of Nuts”, as the effort required to crack it is immense. But behind the very hard shell there is an incredibly flavorful kernel that is much more than just a nut. It takes an impressive 7 years of patience for the macadamia tree to bear fruit for the first time. And because there is strength in peace, harvesting and drying the nuts also takes time before they are cracked and vacuum sealed. This is the only way to preserve the nutty aroma, which creates a buttery and slightly sweet note when the nut kernels are chewed.

Our “Natural” variety consists exclusively of fair trade macadamia nut kernels of the best organic quality, which are sustainably grown, harvested and dried by small farmers in Kenya. Removed from their shells on site and vacuum-sealed in their natural state, the macadamia nuts reach Hamburg by sea. Here they are then unroasted and carefully packaged by hand in aroma-tight, recyclable disposable jars.
